Our commitment to quality

As a national provider of education and skills, our delivery meets the ongoing developmental needs of its learners, employers and partners providing a high quality training and learning experience, fully supporting individuals to progress on their chosen further education or career pathway and working closely with employers and partners to meet their organisational development and skills needs.

Ixion staff at all levels are aware of their individual contribution toward the overall quality experience provided to our colleagues, learners, employers and partners; assuring a high quality experience is sustained across all aspects of the ‘learner journey’ continually monitoring and reviewing all delivery stages ensuring high levels of satisfaction and positive outcomes for all stakeholders are achieved and maintained.

At our most recent full inspection carried out in February 2023 Ixion was awarded a ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

Quality Accreditations

Delivering contracts for the government and a range of public sector partners means that we are continually seeking to monitor and improve our quality and compliance standards to ensure that we foster a culture of quality throughout the organisation and minimise the risk to our customers.

The C2E accreditation is part of the National Equality Standard (NES) framework. It certifies Ixion’s policies meet the high standards set by the NES. The C2E standard validates that procedures within the organisation are taking place to create an equal and diverse delivery platform and working environment.

The frame work focuses on: Equality Policies, Equality in Employment, Equality of Terms and Conditions, Equality in Recruitment, Equality Responsibilities, Equality in Service Delivery and External Equality Relationships.

Ixion uses the EFQM Business Excellence standard as its preferred continuous development tool and our strong and robust internal processes are regularly audited by our customers and are given full compliance in all areas on each occasion.

Ixion is also an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited provider.

Ixion is a ‘Matrix’ accredited company, a standard awarded to organisations that deliver information, advice and guidance on learning and work. Ixion is delighted to be the first brokerage company in England to achieve this.

We are an Ofsted ‘Good’training provider.

Ixion uses the PRINCE2 project management framework as a contract management tool to integrate recognition of risk and risk assessment developing strategies to manage and mitigate through robust contingency planning.

Ixion are an accredited centre for business advice for Small and Medium Enterprises by the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative (SFEDI) and has achieved the Investors in People standard.
