Chipo Parirenyatwa - finalist for Carers Award in BAME Apprenticeship Awards!

Congratulations to Chipo – what a fantastic achievement following her earlier accomplishment this year in gaining a Distinction in her Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.

Chipo’s Teaching Assessor, Georgiana Cus-Miroiu told Chipo the good news and this is what she had to say: “I am very delighted to receive this good news. I’m also humbled and glad to be among the shortlisted nominees for the BAME Apprenticeship Award. Thank you for recognising my hard work. I value and respect your opinion and looking forward to the awards. Thank you so much, I appreciate the recognition.”

We are all incredibly proud of Chipo’s achievements, and her resilience and determination when others might have given up – a very well-deserving finalist!

The BAME Apprenticeship Awards

The BAME Apprenticeship Awards aims to showcase the range of talent and hard work within the BAME communities which is made possible with the contribution of employers and learning providers who share these beliefs. This year, there were over 300 nominations and in light of the challenges Health and Social Care Apprentices have faced the Awards wanted to show their appreciation to frontline staff and created a special award for carers. Chipo is a finalist in the Carers Award along with five other nominees and we wish them, and all of the other nominees  the best of luck at the awards ceremony in November (virtually or in-person!). You can see Chipo’s name in lights at approximately 9.22!,

“What an inspiring lady – please take the time to read her story – we are so proud of Chipo and how she has overcome immense challenges to succeed.

This is why we do what we do – to support people to progress in life and work, and help them achieve their personal ambitions, with the required support and wrap around service to ensure that regardless of any barriers they can reach their full potential.

Congratulations to all of the nominees who made the shortlist.”
