Skills for Essex, funded by the Learning & Skills Council in Essex, is a programme specifically designed to enable employers in Essex to make the best use of their most expensive resource - their workforce.

For Businesses

You can receive a tailored action plan for staff development. Aligned with the Investor in People quality mark, you will benefit from a programme of workshops and one-to-one support.

For Individuals / Employees

Training is at NVQ 2 and NVQ 3 level across a wide range of industry sectors.

To be eligible for training under this project, learners must be:

• Working in Essex
• In employment for more than 16 hours per week
• 16 years of age or older
• Not on any other Government-funded training programme

Our delivery partners have been picked for their ability to deliver high quality training, often on employer premises, and all with an exemplary track record of helping individuals to achieve.
