Safeguarding & PREVENT
Ixion requires its Partners to all adhere to Ixion's Policies, as a minimum standard.
Ixion will commit to safeguard all learners and workers by:
Valuing them, listening to them and respecting them.
Adopting safeguarding guidelines through procedures and a code of conduct for staff and partners.
Ensuring responsibility for all safeguarding practices starts from the Board level
Recruiting staff safely and undertake Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks.
Sharing information about concerns with agencies that need it.
Make sure all members of staff are trained in safeguarding.
Rigorously monitoring and reporting safeguarding to continually improve our practices
PREVENT & Preventing Extremism / British Values
There is no place for extremist views of any kind in Ixion, whether from internal sources (customers, staff, non–executives or associates) or external sources (wider communities, external agencies or individuals or Partners).
Our customers (either via direct delivery or delivered through Partners) have a right to experience service delivery environments, including those for training, workplace, employability programmes, that are safe, where they can explore controversial issues safely, and where our staff encourage and facilitate this – we have a duty to ensure this happens and so help prevent extremism and impart British values in all parts of our community.
