Rebecca Sudworth Non-Executive Director (Chairperson)
Rebecca joined Ixion in June 2017 and took the Non-Executive Chairman role full time on 1st August 2017.
Rebecca joined Shaw Trust in February 2016 as a Trustee and still sits on the Shaw Trust Board as a Trustee.
Rebecca is the Director of Strategic Planning and Performance at City, University of London.
She was the Director of Strategy and Communications at the Peabody Trust since August 2013. Peabody is one of London’s largest and oldest housing associations, providing homes and services to over 80,000 Londoners. Before joining Peabody, Rebecca was a Senior Civil Servant in the Department for Work and Pensions, leading the department’s strategic financial planning across a welfare budget of over £200bn and a resource budget of £8bn. Before that, Rebecca led policy on the employment of disabled people, designing and delivering the Work Choice programme and developing Employment and Support Allowance, a new benefit introduced in 2008. Rebecca’s career in the civil service started in the Treasury, and she has worked in a wide range of areas, often focusing on employment and welfare policy. Rebecca started her career at Oxfam, and loves working in organisations with a strong social purpose.
