Our aim was to be formally recognised for being a good employer, which was why we entered the Sunday Times Best Companies survey for the first time in October 2013. We were delighted to achieve ‘ One to watch’ status in the Not for Profit sector for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
We are committed to a healthy work life balance which is why we offer a generous 28 days holiday plus bank holidays for all our staff, plus the option to purchase and additional 5 days per calendar year. This is increased to 30 days holiday to recognise employees with a long service reward after 10 years service.
Our staff also benefit financially by saving money on their childcare costs by taking advantage of childcare vouchers via a salary sacrifice scheme, season ticket travel schemes and an online savings portal that offers a wide range of discounts and savings.
Personal wellbeing support with 24 hour access to an Employee Support Service, with qualified counsellors , eye care and spectacle vouchers and group life cover all add to the range of benefits that are provided to all our staff.

There is an active Group staff forum that meets on a regular basis, and encourages formal consultation that considers matters relating to and involving staff, and provides an opportunity to work in partnership with the Ixion Management Team.
