Rachael became the Managing Director of Ixion in 2018 have fulfilled the role of Group Finance and Corporate Services Director for the previous 15 years at Ixion. She has extensive experience operating in the public, private and third sectors at an executive board level, culminating in an OFSTED Grade 1 “Outstanding” organisation achievement in 2017.
Rachael is driven by a sense of purpose to help people transform their lives and to grow the Ixion business. She is Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) with senior leadership skills who empowers individuals to perform, building staff morale to achieve “Outstanding” results.
She is a strategic agent-of-change having overseen and led on acquisitions, joint ventures and start-ups. As part of her corporate services responsibilities, she has innovated using digital IT solutions for quality customer outcomes, in regulated markets for greater customer focus and satisfaction, efficiency, compliance and simpler, faster and more-personal outcomes, working with highly motivated staff.
For the last 9 years, she have been the Audit Chair and a Non-Executive Director for Provide Health and Social Care which is a £70m turnover Social Enterprise company focused on providing good quality health and social care to people in the community. She is also an Audit Committee member of Chelmer Housing Partnership.
In addition to the above, Rachael is also a Board Director for Prospects Ltd which is a £85m turnover business delivering government funded contracts to transform the lives of children, young people and adults in the UK. On a voluntary basis she is the Treasurer and Committee Member of Essex Crimestoppers which is a national charity supporting the reduction of crime in the community.
