The topic for 2007 was carbon footprint - and the ways that businesses can reduce theirs and increase profits.

After hearing from keynote speakers, delegates were then asked to consider what businesses in the East of England were doing to ensure their carbon footprint is reduced over the coming years. Discussions included current climate change issues affecting:

- Community
- Housing
- Travel and Transport
- What the government is doing

The 14th Annual Doing Business Event is scheduled for Thursday 13 November 2008 at Stock Brook Country Club, Billericay from 4.00 pm - 7.00 pm. The topic for this year’s event will be Skills and Employability. Further details on the event will be available in the forthcoming months.
