Pablo is Chief Executive of Activate Enterprise.  A new joint venture and member of the Activate Learning group of FE Colleges. Activate Enterprise supports 2000 apprentices employed in 1300 organisations, plus bespoke learning and development programmes through Rocket Consultancy.

Pablo is also a co-founder of Aspero Consulting, specialising in strategy, business development, acquisitions and organisational development in the skills sector. He is also a non-executive director of Skills Show Ltd, the organisation responsible for skills competitions in the UK, and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare Trust.

He spent 12 years at Learndirect where, as a founding director, he helped to build it into the UK's largest training company. He left to found Aspero Consulting in 2011 following the successful sale of Learndirect to Lloyds Development Capital. He started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he trained and qualified as a chartered accountant. He went on to hold a number of senior finance and marketing roles in financial services, specialising in restructuring and troubleshooting. As finance director at the MCPS-PRS Alliance, he implemented the merger of the UK's two largest music copyright organisations.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a masters degree in mathematics and computer science from Cambridge University.
