By the age of 35, one-third of UK men will have been classed as an "Offender" at some stage of their lives (this doesn't include minor traffic offences).
80% of Offenders who leave custody and community punishment but do not find employment will reoffend. This has huge cost implications for the country, their victims and their own lives. The biggest barrier to their gaining employment is often a lack of essential skills (such as literacy, numeracy and ICT) and the need for more advice and guidance on progression onto further learning and employment.
Ixion is at the forefront of Offender Support, Skills for Life and Advice & Guidance initiatives to address these issues through years of experience and trust gained in the industry.
- Contracts are held across London, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and the Thames Valley.
