Ixion has a wide range of funded and partially funded training opportunities available to employers, employees and those individuals looking to return to work.
We have formal relationships with more than 25 training providers (all of whom must comply with our Health & safety & OFSTED requirements & risk assessments) who deliver training programmes on our behalf and we at Ixion also deliver some training programmes ourself.

Train to Gain is a Government funded service through the Learning and Skills Council which is designed to help businesses get the training they need to succeed.
Ixion is working in partnership to deliver Train to Gain in the region and in London.
The Train to Gain service offers free, impartial advice that matches training needs with training providers and makes sure that training and support is delivered to meet your objectives.
Train to Gain can improve productivity and competitiveness and works primarily in three ways:
- Train to Gain provides free and completely impartial independent skills assessment
- Train to Gain helps the employer to choose the most suitable training providers
- Train to Gain helps the employer to get the best value for money from their investment and with Government funding support.
Train to Gain service can provide some funding itself. e.g.
- Free training to help your employees gain their first full Level 2 qualification
- A wide range of training for low-skilled employees
- The possibility of a contribution from the Government to the employers wage costs, for companies with less than 50 employees in order to cover the costs of the time spent training.
Equalities & Diversity training in the Workplace
The richness of diversity is a business benefit that more organisations are waking up to. Today’s workplaces are very different and need to consider gender, cultural, disability and ethnic background, age and other aspects of diversity. The benefits of diversity in the workplace are now well established.
It is vital that organisations work to support the potential differences between colleagues, teams and clients in oder to maximise performance and outcomes in the most efficient way.
The encourage techniques that are practiced during the sessions and employees see the benefits of diversity coming alive.
Program elements can for example include:
- What does diversity means?
- A self completion diversity awareness on line survey
- Communicating the equalities agenda
- Are we self aware?
- What are the benefits?
- How to embed in your organisation and not to be a tick box exercise
We will build the programme to your own requirements.

We are a qualified Investors in People (IiP) training provider and can either help business clients of any size to attain the standard or help train Investors in People practitioners locally (who will then provide the service to business clients). We provide these services in the UK and internationally.
The Investors in People Standard has long been acknowledged as a business improvement tool, helping organisations of every size, type and location to gain more from their people in support of business goals.
It is flexible enough to apply to any organisation and sets a standard for good practice in matching what people can do and are motivated to do, with what the organisation needs them to do.
