Ixion Holdings Ltd is a limited by guarantee, not-for-profit organisation that is part of the £140m Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), delivering Government funded provision since 1995. We are an integral part of a higher education corporation, with expertise in supply chain management of a complex nature. We have a strong network of staff, excellent IT platforms now based in the cloud and a flexible delivery style to meet customer needs.
Our business focus is “Skills, Employment, Innovation and Enterprise in a Changing World”.
We provide support, consultancy and training to both individuals and all levels of management and business size in organisational development, change, strategy, driving outcomes, value for money, recruitment and business growth – Delivering market-leading expertise.
Company Structure
Founded in 2001 to provide Business Support services in Essex, the Ixion group has grown to have/ had locations across the South East, North East, London, East Midlands, North West and East of England to provide business support and people development services throughout the UK, and is currently expanding operations in Europe.
Within the Ixion Group, there are a number of companies we work through:
 
Offers contracted and/or outsourced business support services to corporate organisations including to deliver and contract manage on behalf of the Public & Private sectors: Employablity, Business SME start-ups & Business for Growth strategies, Mentoring programmes, Apprenticeships, Reducing-Re-offending, European framework & innovation funding, NVQ's, Training, Change management consultancy, Business Advice, Marketing, web and new media development, Project Management, Telemarketing and Contact Centre/employer engagement.  
Ixion holds prime contracts with DWP and the SFA amongst others but also has contracts as sub-contractors with DWP, MoJ, ESF and Local Authorities etc.
 
               Ixion routes it main group contracts through this company to its subsidiaries.
 
Ixion in on the DWP Single Work Programme framework as part of this consortium for SW England and West Midlands. John Govett, Ixions CEO, has recently been appointed as Chairman of Paragon. Ixion Holdings Ltd is in partnership with four other leading Welfare to Work suppliers who recenty formed ‘Paragon Concord Ltd’ to bid for contracts through the ‘Welfare to Work’ Programme. (Ixion with Pinnacle People, Twin Training, Acton Training College and Community Systems).
 
Ixion acquired Computer Gym Ltd on the 30th April 2010. Known now as Ixion CG Ltd, the organisation is the core delivery arm of the organisation for the areas of Employability and Reducing re-offending,  the DWP Single Work Programme in London East, London West and SE England and as a specialist provider in East of England.
Established in 1995 as originally as Computer Gym, Ixion CG Ltd is an outreach training provider that delivers Employment & Skills training programmes in line with policy informed by the Leitch Review of Skills and the Freud Report. We operate nationally across England, leading on contracts in London, Midlands, East, South East, North East & North West. Ixion CG provides a full complement of Integrated Employment & Skills interventions across three Divisions:
 
Initiatives - Skills for Jobs; Flexible New Deal; Response to Redundancy;  JCP Jobcentre Plus Regional Development Agencies. Delivering - Short vocational courses; Employability & Soft Skills; Job Search & Placement.

Ixion CG Ltd has a very successful and strong track record in delivery of pre-employment training to unemployed groups, with end to end services that provide a full journey from engagement and initial assessment through to sustainable employment. This has included engaging learners through delivery of Skills for Jobs (including ASDAN employability qualifications), with employability elements and work placement services. We also hold London’s largest Jobcentre Plus Support subcontract, solely covering the Boroughs of Newham, Redbridge, Havering, Croydon & Kingston. We have significant experience working with disadvantaged clients (lone parents, aged 50+, BME, Offenders) including those furthest from the labour market. A focus is on training that combines vocational upskilling with in-depth initial assessment, employability skills development, intensive job support, IAG/mentoring & access to comprehensive signpost-advisory services. Progression opportunities are maximised via pull-through to our current London Train to Gain & Apprenticeship contracts.
 
Ixion CG Ltd is also at the forefront of offender training and IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) initiatives under its dedicated Offender Learning Services Division with over 2,500 clients supported each year. We are also one of the UK’s leading specialist Mobile Skills for Life providers, having delivered in excess of 3,000 Skills for Life courses since 2006 & with National Testing results consistently 10% higher than the national average (85-92% pass rate).
 
Ixion CG Ltd sets out to engage with employers under its Workforce Development Division to understand their specific needsto tailor trainingcourses, locations and timing to accommodate those needs. This approach has resulted in substantially higher pass rates than the national average in essential “Skills for Life” (literacy, numeracy and literacy).
 
One of the key strengths of Ixion CG Ltd is the capacity to provide comprehensive outreach services via Laptop “Flying Squads” or even Mobile Learning Centres, which can be used for IAG, Vocational training, ICT and full job search activities. This enables us to offer flexible, employment-focused activities direct within the community setting, substantially different from provision which relies on accessing services at a single point & at prescribed times.
 
iAPT Ltd’s “Ixion Applied Positive Psychology & Technology is an advisor training course with online support for both Case Managers and clients and has been established to disseminate the application of scientifically-proven psychological techniques to enable welfare advisors to greatly improve “Into Work” and “Sustained Employment” Outcomes. This is a JV between Ixion and Myworksearch and Esher House.
