Ixion Holdings Ltd is a limited by guarantee, Not-for-profit organisation, passionate about giving back to the community. Founded in 2001, Ixion's headquarters are in Chelmsford, Essex and we also have a presence in central London as part of our London Brokerage contract.

We are an independent holdings board, owned by a sole member, Anglia Ruskin University               

We are a main joint shareholder of EEIB Ltd that provides Business Link services in the East of England. The Ixion group has now grown to provide business support and people development services throughout the UK, and is currently expanding operations in Europe.

Business Link East of England has recently re-won the 3 year contract for the main Business Link service in the East of England in December 2009, worth £20m per annum for what is to be an integrated Business Link and Skills brokerage. It has also won preferred bidder status for both the the UKTI contract (UK Trade & Industryand the Inward Invetstment contract in Dec 2009), starting 1 April 2010, that helps businesses in the region to market in and to countries around the world.

Ixion is accredited to the Matrix standard, Investors in People (IiP) and is also an ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited provider.

Within the Ixion Group, there are three active companies we work through:

• Ixion Holdings Limited - Offers outsourced business support services to corporate organisations including: Apprenticeships, NVQ's, Training, Change management consultancy, Business Advice, Marketing, web and new media development, Events, Recruitment, media buying, Project Management, Information Technology (IT) support, Telemarketing and Contact Centre/employer engagement.

• East of England IDB Limited (trading as Business Link East) - Delivers the Business Link service in the East of England region. The Business Link service is delivered on behalf of the East of England Development Agency. It will also from 1 April 2010 deliver both the UKTI & Inward Investment contracts, subject to contract, in the region.

• The London Brokerage Consortium - Delivering Train to Gain to the whole of London. The Train to Gain service offers free, impartial advice, matches training needs with training providers, and makes sure that training and support is delivered to meet employer's objectives.
